H.R. Steels has full fledge engineering
facilities available under one roof for efficient day-to-day business
management. It has world class, integrated facilities facilities for
production, quality testing, stock-keeping and R&D. The advanced
production unit is equipped with state-of-the-art plants equipped with CNC
machines to handle the in-house process of melting, casting, rolling &
twisting. This well-equipped manufacturing unit ensures bulk products in
minimal possible time. It also assists in customized product development.
The facilities are based at Bhiwadi, Distt. Alwar, Rajasthan.
H.R. Steels also provides complete technical support services to the
customers, implementing its marketing strategy. Regular induction of new
technologies based production plants or regular retrofitting of the existing
plants, assists in expanding the production both in terms of quality and
volume. It also helps greatly for efficient channelization of operations
along with overall flexibility.
Technological Excellence
Trimurti TMT Bars are produced using the
worlds most advanced technology - Tempcore Process. This
process is used under licence from Centre de Recherche Metallurgiques (CRM),
Belgium. The Tempcore Process imparts high strength to the bar through
thermomechanical treatment (TMT) technique.
Trimurti TMT Bars are subjected to controlled in-line process of hardening
and tempering through to hot rolling process. As soon as the bars crosses
the last finishing stand, ribbed bars are made to pass through specially
designed water cooling system. In this process, bar's outer surface gets
severely quenched, which consequently produces a composite structure with a
strong tempered martensite rim & ductile core. This yields high strength
and good ductility in bars, thereby making them ideally suitable for high
rise buildings. Trimurti brand TMT bars are also suitable for earthquake
zones 4 and 5.
Manufacturing Process
- Raw materials undergo visual examination and chemical analysis
- Once cleared, they are cut into the required sizes.
- Materials pass through the preheating and soaking zones in the
furnace and non attaining the required temperature
- Conveyors are used to feed the materials to Roughing Mill, specific
to bar diameter.
- After the exit, the materials are fed to the Finishing Mill for
manufacturing small diameter bars. Materials obtained from Finishing
Mills then pass through the cooling system with predetermined cooling
parameters to produce TMT bars.
- The treated bars are left on the cooling bed to acquire the desirable
mechanical properties through tampering of the water quenched surface.
- The bars then pass through shearing machine to cut them into desired
lengths.
- Quality testing is done as per the defined norms.
- Afterwards, the bars are bent, bunched, tagged and stored for
dispatch.
